A Leader in Me School

A Leader in Me School

Tara Eddington

Office Manager

Hello!  I'm excited for another school year here at Lopez and to be able to see the darling faces of the kids each day!  I have been with Lopez since 2020 and came in during a crazy time with the pandemic.  It has been fun getting to know the kids and families of Lopez.  I love my job as Office Manager since I get to know each person who comes through the front doors.

I was lucky to be able to stay at home with my kids when they were little. As they got older and didn’t need me as much, I began substituting in their schools and even in their classrooms.  It was a fun time and I realized how much I loved working in the school buildings.  I worked as a full time Health Tech and then as an Office Manager in another school district for a while, then decided that PSD was where I wanted to be.  I am so glad I found Lopez!  Lopez is a wonderful school and the teachers and staff have been amazing to work with.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids.  My two girls are now adults and working in the schools, too.  My son attends Windsor High School and will graduate in 2024.  When we can get our kids to come with us, we LOVE to get out in our camping trailer and head for the mountains.  My husband and I will even go without them since we love to be outdoors.  Our dream is to one day travel the country with an RV and see everything we can!  We will always come back to Colorado, though.  The mountains are my happy place!
