I'm a Fort Collins native with no plans to ever leave! I live in the Lopez neighborhood and love my walking commute to work. My daughter attended Lopez and is now a senior at Rocky Mountain. I also live with Oliver the cat, Nadia the tortoise and Penny the pup.
This is my 8th year of literacy at Lopez! The majority of my career, 15 years, was spent at Cache la Poudre Elementary as owner and director of a before and after school program and summer camp. I also spent a year in early childhood at O'Dea.
I love spending time with my family. Together we love to craft, bake and play games. I also enjoy music, musicals, camping and biking. During the summer you can find me in my garden or reading in the hammock. This year my goal is to learn guitar!
I'm dedicated to my job and the students. I love helping students find their voice and build confidence.
