About AlphaBEST

Licensed staff and program
Daily schedules include snacks, homework help, recreation, student-choice clubs, and an hour of enrichment activities such as coding, robotics, art, drama, Spanish, Mandarin, Sign Language, fitness and sports, and more.

AlphaBEST follows the State of Colorado’s staff-to-student ratios, with one staff member to every 15 students. Students are served a daily snack that adheres to U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines and Colorado regulations. Programming will align with each school’s strategic goals.

Hours of operation
•    Before-school programs will run 6:30 a.m. until the site school’s first bell Mondays through Fridays.
•    After-school programs will operate from the time of a site school’s dismissal until 6 p.m.
•    AlphaBEST will align with PSD decisions about opening, delayed start and school closures due to emergencies and inclement weather. AlphaBEST will be closed on most days when PSD is closed. Full-day care will be available on teacher workdays.

Tuition rates and discounts
AlphaBEST has pledged to match or reduce fees that parents were paying with PSD's former before- and after-school childcare service provider. Families who qualify for free or reduced-price meals, active military members and PSD employees are eligible for discounts. Scholarships are available. AlphaBEST also accepts Colorado Child Care Assistance Program, or CCCAP, vouchers and has no limit on the number of CCCAP slots available.
