Hello! After graduating from Ohio University with my degree in Elementary Education and my master's degree in special education, I taught special education for four years. I then moved to kindergarten and spent 15 years teaching both half-day and full-day. Teaching special education and kindergarten both proved to be amazing jobs, where I was able to fulfill my passion for teaching and connecting with students and families. Now I am teaching second grade and am eager to continue to learn and grow at Lopez.
When I am not at Lopez, my home away from home, I like to spend my time with my family and friends. I have a husband, two sons, a Samoyed, and a cat. I also enjoy reading, paddle boarding, camping with my family and volunteering my time helping local non-profit organizations.
