Welcome to 5th grade !

5th grade Rocks!

This year will be exciting at Lopez because our students are the top leaders of the school and are getting prepared for their important transition to middle school.  One of our most anticipated events is EcoWeek!  Students will spend two nights at CSU Mountain Campus where they will face challenges, learn about nature, and build relationships with their classmates and staff.  The 5th grade curriculum is rich and engaging in all subject areas.  Mrs. Berg teaches Literacy, Mrs. Martin teaches Math, and Mr. Radis teaches Social Studies and Science.  Each teacher will then teach Spelling to their own homeroom class. Other events in 5th grade include WIN, the spelling bee, clubs, human growth and development, Field Day Service Project where 5th graders run all stations and finally our promotion ceremony to celebrate their success and achievements at Lopez.
