A Leader in Me School

Megan Cordova

3rd Grade Teacher
Educational and Professional Background

I have been at Lopez since 2019 and I am grateful to be part of the Lopez family! The years have been flying by and it is unbelievable that this is my tenth year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, second, fifth and have found my home in third grade. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in elementary teaching and multicultural studies. In addition to teaching elementary students, I am a running club coach, mentor teacher, Leader in Me Lighthouse coordinator and a district Social Studies member. I am looking forward to serving your student and family!

Personal Interests and Hobbies

We have a small family of three, which consists of my husband, daughter and me. As a family, we enjoy spending time hiking, biking, swimming and doing anything outdoors. I love to run, read and watch any documentary.
