Integrated Services

Integrated Services at Lopez Elementary

At Lopez, our Integrated Services team supports students with a wide range of needs, ensuring every child has access to a meaningful and inclusive education.


What We Provide

Students who qualify for special education services may receive:

  • Specialized instruction for specific learning disabilities
  • Speech and language therapy
  • Occupational and physical therapy to support access to the school environment
  • Behavioral and emotional support through our school psychologist

Integrated Learning Supports (ILS) Program

Our ILS Program serves students with significant needs, focusing on:

  • Academic skills in reading and math (aligned with grade-level content)
  • Communication and social skills
  • Motor and adaptive skills
  • Building independence in daily routines

Students learn in an environment that promotes inclusion and mirrors the educational setting of peers without disabilities.

Our Goal

We partner closely with families to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and functional skills — helping every student reach their fullest potential.
